Since 2019, we have worked with charitable partners to help people stay warm and well at home by building their financial wellbeing and becoming more energy efficient through advice and practical measures.
We aim to help households find sustainable, long-term solutions to fuel poverty.
Our partners help with specialist energy advice which is outlined in this section. There are also some simple things you can do at home, such as following our energy saving tips, to start managing your energy bills today.
Our £1m Warm Fund offers all-year round support to those most in need, to keep them warm and well at home.
We offer grants to charitable organisations for projects which address the root causes and impacts of fuel poverty. Grant applications are by invitation only.

NEA, the national fuel poverty charity, has worked closely with the Cadent Foundation since its creation delivering a range of projects to support people who are in, or at risk of, fuel poverty.
We partner with Citizens Advice to help people out of fuel poverty in the most deprived areas, ensuring they stay warm and well with expert, impartial advice.
Blackpool Coastal Housing (BCH) is a management company owned by Blackpool Council delivering a wide range of support services to both tenants and Blackpool residents.
Since 2020 Cadent Foundation has worked with Groundwork and committed an investment of £6m over the partnership to support 14,500 households in our communities to stay warm at home.

The Priority Services Register (PSR) is a free support service that is provided by utilities companies – including electricity, gas and water – to help customers in vulnerable situations, including those living in fuel poverty.
Cadent Foundation was set up to provide funding to charities which support individuals and households living in fuel poverty.
Income maximisation provides households living in fuel poverty access to all their possible benefits and financial support which can include sourcing grants, discounts, benefits and debt management.
