Free or discounted connections

Did you know you could be entitled to a free or discounted gas connection to your home?*

A gas connection lets you install gas central heating to help heat your home for less. Your personal circumstances may mean you qualify for a free or discounted connection.

*Please note: this offer is not available to new build properties or commercial business properties.

You may also be eligible for a free gas central heating system through the Connected for Warmth scheme.

Alternative discount eligibility

If we are unable to offer you a free connection directly, you may be entitled to a discounted connection through YES Energy Solutions to offer alternative discounts.

They are an appointed and official service provider to Cadent and you'll need to apply directly to them.

To be eligible you must:

live within our gas network and
be eligible for support under the Help To Heat Group (HTHG) or
be in 'Fuel Poverty' based on the Low Income Low Energy Efficiency indicator (LILEE).
