If you are struggling to manage your energy bills at home, there is help available from our charity partners and through online resources and tools, outlined below.
Through Cadent and the Cadent Foundation we fund community partners to support our customers with energy saving advice and other measures, to stay safe, warm, and connected at home.
We have an online Turn2Us benefit calculator, where you can find the means tested benefits you may be entitled to. It's free to use and the details you provide are kept anonymous.
If you want to keep a track of your money the free IE Hub budgetary tool allows you to manage your household finances and budget effectively. It allows you to create a thorough and accurate budget and see what financial benefits you could be entitled to with their free benefit checker tool.


Our Centres for Warmth support people living in their local community with essential advice on home energy efficiency, carbon monoxide safety and income maximisation.
Centres are available in the North West, West Midlands, East Midlands, East Anglia and North London areas.
We partner with the Citizens Advice service to offer energy saving advice in 17 locations.
You can also access help with the cost-of-living at your local Citizens Advice office.


Stay Warm, Stay Well is a Cadent Foundation and Groundwork project, offering free home visits from Green Doctors to support those struggling with their energy bills and give practical guidance on how to save money, including behaviour change tips, as well as referrals to other local support services, like debt advice and food banks.
