Modern Slavery Statement
Read our Modern Slavery Statement which is published every year and highlights what we are doing in our business and supply chain
Through education, resources, and our partnership with Utilities Against Slavery and the Slave Free Alliance, we are working against all forms of modern slavery and human trafficking – not only across our organisation and supply chain but also in the vulnerable sections of our customer base.
This film is to support customer facing colleagues to recognise the signs of modern slavery. It addresses the untold truth about issues that can be found and provides advice about how to raise concerns. By creating and freely sharing this film, we are collaborating with all companies in the utility sector to make our industry a place where people confront injustice, uphold dignity, and make a stand supporting others.

You can report any suspected modern slavery by ringing the Modern Slavery Helpline 0800 012 1700, you can choose to remain anonymous.
Raj Neelakantan, who has been active in tackling modern slavery during his role as Sustainable Procurement Manager, said: We’re committed to ‘Always Doing the Right Thing.' This short film deepens that commitment by educating colleagues and the wider industry on the importance of actively protecting human rights.
Across the UK, thousands of colleagues are walking into homes and businesses every single day, and this video helps to provide vital information to
see the signs
and not walk on by.
