Cadent engineers are working to carry out vital repairs to a stretch of gas pipeline in Huntingdon.
The work needs to be carried to out to help ensure local residents keep on enjoying safe and reliable gas supplies for cooking and heating.
To enable the work to be carried out the closure will be in place on Stukeley Road, beneath the iron bridge, from 7pm tonight (Thursday 25 June) and a signed diversion will be in place via Spittals Way. Engineers will be using part of the Lidl car park to enable them to carry out the work, but the store will remain open for business as usual.
Work is expected to take around eight weeks to complete and local gas supplies should be maintained throughout the work.
