Ethnicity Awards 2022

Asif Aziz, a Senior Investment Programme Manager at Cadent was shortlisted in the Ethnicity Awards 2022.

Asif was shortlisted for the Inspirational Leader Award, given to a Black, Asian, or Minority Ethnic business leader who has used their influence to effect positive change for racial inclusion. 

For the past two years, Asif has been leading to deliver our Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion strategy. He co-chairs our employee community Embrace, promoting awareness and inclusivity of all religions and the issues faced by those from ethnic minority backgrounds. He also sits on our Diversity and Inclusion Steering Group and has been instrumental in the recent setting of new strategic priorities - one of which is to become an anti-racist organisation, where he is a Strategy Lead for the anti-racism working group. 

Asif has also been championing the benefits of diversity and the importance of inclusion throughout all levels of our organisation, influencing our culture and future aspirations. On top of all these commitments, he has consistently been someone you can turn to for advice and counsel and sets a fitting example as a role model.​​​​​​​
