Taking our support for a world without dementia to new heights

We’re very proud that so many of our colleagues have embraced our partnership with Alzheimer’s Society.

Raising £100,000 in our first two years, with a new target to double that in this next year. All going to support a charity aiming for a world without dementia.

Big congratulations to a team from our North West England network, who took this committed spirit to new heights by climbing the three biggest mountains in Scotland, England and Wales.

Setting off in wet and windy conditions to scale Ben Nevis and ending in beautiful weather atop Snowdon, with the not-so-small challenge of Scafell conquered in-between.

They’ve raised £3,500, which will be doubled thanks to Cadent’s matched-giving scheme.

It was a fantastic effort by the team, comprising colleagues from several of our North West bases, including Hollinwood, Warrington and Worsley.

We know people love the controllability of gas and, with our network already in place, it makes sense to switch to the lower carbon alternative offered by hydrogen, which we believe can keep homes and businesses warm for generations to come.
