The five-kilometre run and one-mile Kids Kaper has been organised by Hinckley Running Club and National Grid to help raise money for LOROS Hospice.
Nigel Moore, race organiser from National Grid said, "This is the third year of the 5K charity run, and it is going from strength to strength, raising money for LOROS and attracting great athletes from club runners to the first-time fun runner.
We are hoping we can continue to increase the number of people taking part and build on last year's success and raise even more funds for LOROS.
The race is open to all ages and abilities, with monetary prizes for the more serious runners and great prizes donated by local businesses for the children and fun runners.
Many thanks to Drayton Manor, Banana Fitness and Champneys Health Resort for their donations of prizes.
