Or you could be looking to join our Industrial Placement Programme.  This year we’re looking to recruit across Finance, Customer Performance, Safety and Network Strategy and Construction.
During your 12 month placement we’ll build on your talent to ensure you receive the essential skills and development needed to help your transition from university to working life.
Aside from a great year in industry you’ll get a salary of £16,500, 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays), enrolment to our pension plan and a buddy to support you throughout your year with us.  Our Undergraduate alumni are also a vital source of hires onto our Graduate Programmes following graduation.

Application review

We’ll reply straight away so that you know we’ve received your application. Following this, your application will be reviewed by the Resourcing Team.

Online Assessment

If you have the right skills, knowledge and attributes we’ve asked for, you’ll progress to the second stage of our recruitment process – an online assessment.

Video Interview

If you’ve got this far, you’re already half way through our recruitment process! Now you’ve passed the online assessment, we'd like to understand more about you and why you are interested in working at Cadent. You’ll be asked to take part in a video interview.  

Assessment Day

Once you’ve wowed us with your video interview, we’d love to meet you in person. You’ll be invited to take part in an assessment centre.  You’ll get the chance to meet like-minded Graduates, teams from across the business and get a really good feel for what it’s like to work at Cadent.


We appreciate you’ll be eager to find out if you’ve been successful following the assessment centre so we aim to get back to you as quick as we can. Spaces are limited, not everyone will be successful but we’ll give you feedback if you aren’t made an offer to join us.
