COVID-19: How we’re supporting people and their communities

The COVID-19 pandemic has altered people’s daily lives hugely, causing an increased reliance on supporting services and the need for charities is greater than ever.

We recognised the need to support the range of people living in vulnerable situations and committed an emergency grant to the Trussell Trust on March 20th of £240,000 and a further grant to the Royal Voluntary Service on April 22nd of £100,000. In addition, we allocated up to £125,000 of small grants to charities and groups delivering to those most vulnerable in their local communities.
