HyNet

Our work with exploring the potential of hydrogen began with a concept we developed with our partners Progressive Energy Ltd. That concept -based in the North West - proposes investment in hydrogen production to supply local industries such as glass and steel manufacture that require high temperatures. 

This hydrogen would be produced using natural gas or biomethane with a process call Auto Thermal Reforming (ATR) and the carbon byproduct would be captured and piped to empty undersea caverns left over from the oil and gas industry.
